Nepal’s incredible holiday trip begins by walking around Thamel after check-in in your hotel room on your arrival day in Kathmandu. Thamel is the tourist hub of Kathmandu. Here, you thus find many hotels, restaurants, bars, cafes, and souvenir shops. Our professional guide the next day takes you for cultural sightseeing of four World Heritage Sites in Kathmandu City. Itinerary

Welcome to Kathmandu, the capital city of Nepal and the city of temples, festivals and tremendously friendly mountain people. One of our representatives will pick you up from the airport to transfer you to the hotel. In the evening a dinner is arranged at a traditional local restaurant.

Today is a chance to see many of the important sites of interest and some of the seven World Heritage Sites within the valley including the most important Hindu and Buddhist temples that date back hundreds of years. Many of these sites have some of the finest woodcarving to be found anywhere in the world. In the evening you will meet your guide he will take you through tour preparation and provide you with all the information you need about the tour you are to be taken to.

On the 3rd day of the Kathmandu-Pokhara Tour, we drive to Pokhara, the second biggest city in Nepal. The city is also considered to be one of the most scenic cities in the world. This picturesque valley houses various places full of natural beauty like lakes, caves, rivers, gorges, Himalayan views, etc. During our visit to David’s Fall (Water Fall where water vanishes within the earth’s crust), you’ll get to see one of the most iconic structures of nature’s creations whilst enjoying the peculiarity of Nepalese Sub-tropical humid climate.
 

The visit to Mahadev Cave (an unearthly cave that houses a Shiva Lingam i.e. the symbol of reproduction according to Hindu scriptures) will provide you with an apparent understanding of the human life-cycle by the nature. Subsequently, you will go to the World Peace Stupa. This is the Buddha temple that lies on the southern hilltop of Pokhara city. From here you can enjoy the stunning sunset view.

Briefing of National Activities/ Tharu Village tour/ Tharu Cultural Program Show.

Today early morning breakfast we drive to Chitwan, 150 kilometers from Kathmandu, which takes around 5 hours. We journey along the winding road on the banks of the Trishuli River. After checking in to the hotel lodge and getting refreshed we are briefed about the full nature programs by our nature guide. Today there is a guided village walk and a walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. In the evening, a dinner and cultural program by ethnic tribal people is arranged with a stick dance and tribal drums. Overnight at Chitwan. Included all meals

Elephant back safari to explore rhino/ Canoe Ride in the Rapti river/ Jungle Walk/ Visit of Elephant Breeding Center/ Elephant bathing.

The Chitwan National Park has been declared by UNESCO a World Heritage Site. Today you will discover why the National Park holds such an important place in preserving the wildlife of Nepal. A chance to ride elephants and even bathe with them. There are many wild mammals here. The Park is home to rhinoceros, tigers, leopards, sloth bears, wild bison, over 500 bird species, butterflies, as well as the near extinct Gharials crocodiles.

You do several activities during your stay – an elephant safari, a nature walk, bird watching, a jungle drive, a canoe trip, and others. You may even take a bath with an elephant and learn how to wash your elephant! Don’t forget to take a video of your elephant bath which will be one of the fondest memories of your lifetime. After breakfast, we drive back to Kathmandu. The journey is a very scenic one we take lunch in a restaurant by the riverside before continuing on to Kathmandu and the transfer to our hotel reaching somewhere around three o’clock. Some time to do some last-minute shopping before our farewell meal at a traditional Nepali restaurant and cultural show in the evening.
